Los jóvenes y adultos jóvenes se enfrentan a un mundo emergente de teléfonos celulares, redes sociales, académicos, sus padres y relaciones, todo mientras experimentan los cambios biológicos y los desafíos de la adolescencia. Los datos indican que tanto la ansiedad como la depresión son cada vez más comunes en las poblaciones de jóvenes, lo que puede provocar estrés o ira debilitantes, internalizados o externalizados. Las técnicas de intención plena, enmarcadas hacia la juventud, pueden ayudar.

Expresate Junio-June 29, 2022 - Programa de Participación y Prevención de Alcance Holístico (HOPE por sus siglas en Ingles) - Johanna Pinedo, LFMT Licencia Estatal en Terapia Matrimonial y Familiar Supervisora Servicios para Jóvenes y Adultos Jóvenes-El Centro

La intención del Programa HOPE es involucrar a las personas que no tienen antecedentes de recibir servicios de salud mental y mejorar el apoyo para las personas que actualmente reciben servicios ambulatorios. ICBHS implementará un conjunto de nuevas actividades holísticas de bienestar centradas en la atención plena, el ejercicio y la música/arte (mente, cuerpo y alma). Las remisiones al Programa HOPE se generarán a través de los servicios ambulatorios para jóvenes y crisis de ICBHS. Tras la admisión al Programa HOPE, el coordinador de bienestar evaluará en colaboración un programa de bienestar individual diseñado para reducir la necesidad de servicios de salud mental de nivel superior.
