Research shows that untreated children with anxiety disorders are at higher risk of being unsuccessful in school, miss out on important social experiences, and engage in substance abuse. Imperial County Behavioral Health Children Services uses a cognitive behavioral approach to treat anxiety disorders in children and young adolescents between the ages of 8 to 14. |
