Youth Mental Health First Aid is an interactive training that teaches participants 18 years of age and older how to help adolescents experiencing a mental health or addictions challenge. It is primarily designed for adults who interact with adolescents (12-18) on a regular basis. This training introduces common mental health challenges and disorders for youth. It serves as a tool to help assess if an adolescent is in danger and how to help young people in both crisis and non-crisis situations. |
